(no subject)
Well the weekend was interesting.
It was one of those, I do not feel like hanging around the house weekends.
It started Friday when I got home and found my new credit card was in the mail.
So we decided to go get dinner and go for a drive.
We headed down I-30 E. I was thinking of going to Texarkana, but I ended up turning around somewhere around Sulpher Springs.
Came by the house and brought Tony a burger, then we headed I-20 West and went to the Iron Skillet or something like that and got dinner,
This was like 2am.
Woke Up 10am on Saturday. Got dressed. Went to pay less and bought a pair of sneakers.
Then we headed to Thurber Texas (I-30/I-20 West outside of Fort Worth).
Went inside the museum. Looked around and took some pics. We watched the 15 min video on the history of Thurber.
Very Depressing.
We were going to explore the area outside of the museum, but we went looking for the graveyards instead. They were locked.
So we drove on through to Possum Kingdom. We ate Dinner/Lunch at the Hungry fox inside the Fox Hollow.
The food was good. They know how to make a Medium rare steak.
After we ate we drove around Possum Kingdom more.
We later then headed down 180.
We made a stop at Wal-mart and bought new luggage for next weekends and future trips.
Mom got a normal set, but I have had my eye on the 3 piece skull and cross bones set.
I am a happy Pirate Kitty now.. Arrrrggggg!!!
After wal-mart we were going to go to our Denny's but they were full so we decided to go out of Dallas and find a smoking Denny's
Being that I have driven for 12 hrs. We had to stop inside of Dallas and get something to eat.
While we were waiting for Dinner, I started getting really sleepy, so we decided mom was going to drive my car home.
I then came home and passed out.
Today -
I decided from the last camping trip, and then driving through the country Friday and Saturday that my car needed a bath. Inside and out.
So after work I went and had my car cleaned. She's pretty again, except for the hail damage.
After that I went and had my hair chopped off. Need to dye it again. It's extremely gray now,
Well thats it. I am going to go and work on my knitting now.
I am about 75% done with the purse that I am going to use when I go camping.
It's going to hold my cigs, and glitter.
When I am done with that, I am going to knit a bag to put on the chairs that will hold other things.
Then I need to get back to work on mom's shawl.
