The Smell of Earth After Rain
Fell asleep this afternoon ( Thursday being my free afternoon from all my commitments) and woke up to the rain and when i opened the door for Winnie the smell was truly glorious. I went out and actually sniffed the earth in my hanging basket! Tonight i don't have wet feet from watering the plants, but i have a wet dog and damp legs because he goes out in the rain - and then comes in and leans on me to share the fun
