I have taken up the gauntlet. I am now officially on a mission to rid my life of clutter. We moved into our house a year and a half ago, and we have yet to deal with all of the junk that followed us from our apartment. I have set the personal goal of releasing 1000 items from our home this month, and here is how I am doing so far:
Bag of maternity clothes to Danielle ~50 items
Bag of maternity clothes for Katrina ~15 items
Maternity books for Katrina ~2 items
kids clothes for S and Q ~3 items
Box + Bag of maternity clothes to Mona ~ 125 items
Box of baby girl clothes to Mona ~ 25 items
Bag of baby girl clothes for Shannon ~50 items
Bag of platters and bowls to various owners ~5 items
Total so Far this month= 275
Now I am off to tackle the kitchen! I am purging all plastic containers without matching lids, old sippy cups, chipped or cracked bowls and cups, and cookware that is too scratched to be useful anymore. If I have time i may even ransack the drawers and get rid off all those weird gadgets you get as wedding gifts, but never use. Oh yeah, I'll be bagging up the odd food items that we will not be eating ourselves to send off to the food bank. Some I am hoping for at least 100 items from the kitchen.
