Well, I mean I don't know about preferred, but I post on Facebook a lot, unlike here. I just tend not to post in as much depth over there, though.
For example, I might post on FB that Ruthie banged her head and gashed open her scalp and now we're at the ER getting staples in her head. And later I might post that the stapling experience was not too bad and she's sleeping now thank goodness. Whereas on LJ, if I managed to post about that incident, I would be describing the entire experience, beginning with mixing the pancake batter and including every detail of the evening up until the moment Ruthie finally fell asleep. ;)
So I still do want to try to get back to LJ, because I always feel the urge to get out all the details, for my future self if nothing else. But by all means friend me on FB if you want more frequent updates. ;)
hmm...I can't find you. Do you have your security settings too high? In any case, you should be able to find me via facebook.com - slash - (the same username that I use here on LJ). :)
LJ is getting a bit too quiet. OTOH, there are some things I just don't want to put on FB - not because I don't trust my friends but because I don't want to bore the crap out of them with the minutia of my life. Or because something wants to be treated in long form rather than a few hundred characters. FB also stinks from the point of view of archiving (as in - what was I doing last year at this time?).

It's good to "see" you're still around.
