(no subject)
I went for my 39 week appointment yesterday. My midwives don't do exams, but when she was palpatating my stomach to feel the baby she said "Wow! The baby's head is REALLY low!" So aparently the head is pretty far down in my pelvis, which is why I have been having so much pain and pressure and trouble walking. Before she had checked the baby we had talked all about what they do if I make it to 40 weeks, and then 41 weeks. But after she checked the baby she said, "We probably didn't even need to talk about all that stuff." She doesn't really think that I'll make it too much longer, which is freaking exciting. I cannot wait for this baby to come. Ah! I'm trying not to get too excited, since the baby could possibly still stay in there a long time yet. So it's just a waiting game.
So I'm really nesting now. A couple days ago I went to the grocery store for like 2 things and came home with 8 jars of spaghetti sauce. I hadn't even planned on buying ANY sauce. But it was on sale. How I ended up with 8 of them though, I have no idea. I have this crazy urge to stock up on stuff at the grocery store. I came home and called my husband and told him what I did and he just laughed at me. I am no longer allowed to enter ANY store by myself. haha.
