Family visit

So. I have three cousins from Slovenia (Croats who live there) in my kitchen right now and they are catching up with my mum on family gossips. Who did what, who married who, who died, new quarells, how much weight did I lose/gained etc. - you know how it goes.

Not that I hate having my family members visiting us, but it's so weird. They live in other country and we see them once a year, at max, and it's always awkward since I'm not so close with them. Like I have to meet them all over again. They are really nice, and one of my favorite 'distant cousins'. (And they always bring presents - well, they always come in time of my birthday, soooo...:P)

All of my family members are scattered around over 3 countries and there wasn't much family atmosphere - no all those family gatherings, lunches, coming to each others birthdays and often calls...Mostly because of family fights and distance.
I am sorry about that, and I'd like to be in touch with all of my family, but some of them I never saw in my life!! It's kind of sad...

Well, my mother leaves tomorrow with them to Slovenia, in visit, and I'll be alone for a 5 days. YAY! It'll do good for her, to move away from work a bit. And it'll do good for me too, without her a while! :P I guess I'll call my friend(s) over and have movie night or something, get pissed or something, before exams start again.

Right now, I'm annoyed because my mother will sleep in my room, and I won't have my usual night internet sessions. :/

ETA: Well, when I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth I saw bunch of stuff on the washing machine that belong to our cousins. I think they are one of the rare families that has all members using hair spray (Mum, Dad, First and Second Daughter). :P Srsly. They all use hairspray, so I smiled when I saw huge bottle of hair spray in there. And after the annoyance of my mother staying in my room ro the night left, I thought how I actually like having full house of people. All that noise and fuss, voices, many different stuff that don't belong to me...It's so...boring when it's just my mum and I. Plus, we rarely have guests. So I was so sad to know that they were leaving early in the morning.

*sigh*
