Day 09: Favorite Emotional Scene
As you can see from this and my “Favorite Number” posting, I seem to be on a Baby Blue kick. There are two terrific scenes that both pack a huge emotional whallop for me in this episode. The ending, with their fatalistic longing for a normal family life they know they will never have just gets me every … single … time.
REESE: Bye Leila.
FINCH: You be a good girl.
REESE: Be nice to have a child...children. Think that'll ever happen? Probably not, with our line of work.
FINCH: The trouble with children, you never know how they're going to turn out.
Cut to ELIAS: Hello Dad.
And then, of course, there’s the refrigerated truck scene. What can I say except ALL THE FEELS???!!!!
