Day 08: Favorite Guest Star
My favorite guest star is Linda Cardinelli, who plays Dr. Tillman in one of my favorite episodes, Cura Te Ipsum. She does a great job of portraying the terrible conflict that Dr. Tillman has in her heart and soul over the loss of her sister to the scumbag Andrew Benton.
She is such a smart and likeable character whose personal loss of her sister has almost completely ruined her own life. In my view, Linda Cardinelli perfectly portrays her as nice, caring person who is professional, methodical, and even ruthless in her pursuit of revenge to stop Benton from ever hurting anyone again. In her own way, Dr. Tillman is almost as cunning as Finch and badass as Reese. Her final scene in the diner with Reese is perfectly portrayed by both actors. Their quiet, shared experience of deep personal loss and its devastating aftermath is beautifully emotional and heartbreaking.
