Day 04: How did you discover Person of Interest?
My husband recorded the Pilot back in September of last year and kept urging me to watch it with him. But I’m so busy in the evenings helping the kids do their homework, making dinner, getting them bathed and into bed that I really wasn’t interested in watching another action procedural network drama. So I just never bothered. My hubby kept watching it, taping it and pestering me to watch it. I finally caught the end of one episode, Mission Creep, with the flashback to Reese and Jessica in the airport. Jim Caviezel’s tear-filled eyes as he lets Jessica walk way and his whisper “Wait for me!” just mesmerized me. I’ve been hooked ever since.
Using this excuse to change the subject, Jim Caveizel’s acting skills never cease to amaze me. How does he manage to do both teary-eyed, emotion filled, vulnerable scenes such as the diner scene with Dr. Tillman in Cura Te Ispum, followed immediately by the scary, subtle yet badass scene with the scumbag Andrew Benton? His acting using just his eyes in that episode is simply AMAZING!
