Is your living room carpeted or does it have hardwood floors? Carpeted, with a really filthy once-off-white carpet that we're dying to replace with faux hardwood.

Are your plates in the same cupboard as your cups? Our plates and cups are on open shelves rather than in a cupboard.
Is there a coffee maker sitting on your kitchen counter? Yes, and a larger one under the counter, too, that we bring out when we have guests.
What room is your computer in? Which computer? One in the basement proper, that runs our server - it's a slave stack, no keyboard, mouse, or monitor. One in the living room. One for each of the kids, in their bedrooms. Two laptops in the rec room/office - his and hers. His goes with him to work, though, so it's not in the house at the moment.
Are there pictures hanging in your living room? A quilted wall hanging of cream and brown irises, done by Vilmos's Grandmother. A metallic print of an 18th century "map of the worlde." A print showing three views of calla lilies, in browns. A copper foil print of Raven by Bill Reid.
Are there any themes found in your home? Raven prints by various west coast Native artists. Mostly Haida, some Sto'lo and Tshimshan.
What kind of laundry detergent do you use? What ever I can find that is bio-degradable and unscented.
Do you use dryer sheets? Never. The perfumes from dryer sheets are a major source of allergies in this house. If there's a static problem, I ball up a bit of aluminum and toss that in the drier. Weird, but it works!
Curtains in your home? Only in Danger Boy's room and the bathroom - everywhere else we have blinds.

How many mirrors are in your house? Um. One of the living room walls is mirrored, floor to ceiling. The wall at the top of the stairs is also mirrored floor to ceiling. There is a mirror above the kitchen sink. ...and of course the obligatory mirror in the bathroom.
Look up. What do you see? A desk hutch with CD storage half way to the ceiling.
