Hooray....My favorite season has finally arrived !! I've always loved autumn,even though I know what will be following it. The Autumnal Equinox was yesterday .... from this point on,the days will get shorter and the nights longer,til Yule (around Dec.20th or so)when the Winter Solstice occurs... This has always been a special time for me,it is time to "bank my fires" and start to make plans for what I'd like to accomplish in the coming year.Over the past week...... I've made plans to go hiking with an old friend that I used to be very close to ( and hope to rekindle that friendship again),and have re-established contact with another "old" friend from several years ago. This is indeed a time for introspection and for nurturing my soul.
