Had a stressful day yesterday, when I found out that there is crap growing on my cervix and I need to have it cut off. So that's what I'm doing on Tuesday. It's outpatient at the hospital. General anesthesia. The hospital said it was going to cost us $1,200 *after* insurance: $400 deductible and we have to pay 20%. Gone are the days of paying $250 for an entire week in the hospital. They'll biopsy everything. Shouldn't be cancer....maybe precancer. One lab said it wasn't HPV, so that's weird. Hope it doesn't hurt too much. It's not good I have to miss school, of course.
My great-uncle has been in the hospital for about a week. Hospice was suggested to my mother today.
School is going great. I've had five tests and five As. Man, that other program I was in was just insane. I know nursing school doesn't have to be like that now. I may not say that after I start clinical next week. We'll see. I still like my teacher as of now.
