Chuck starts his job at SCOLA today at noon. He's going to drop Abe and I off at my sister's first varsity high school soccer game of the season before going. I'll have to walk Abe back in his stroller, about 2 miles.
Tomorrow my supervisor will be evaluating me. I'm nervous because it's my Monday; I may not be on my best game. Easter Sunday will be the first day I am on the phones alone. Since my weekend began there has been a major fire downtown and a pipe bomb found in a neighboring county. Let's hope this is not a sign of what's to come tomorrow.
Yesterday I rented Clan of the Cave Bear. I read the book when I was pregnant. I enjoyed the interpretation, made almost 20 years ago. Of course the rape scene was disturbing, but when wouldn't it be. I find that rape scenes in books don't seem to bother me as much as on film, not that I read or see them that often.
