There's this woman that I pass on the sidewalk sometimes. She's always pushing a stroller, so you'd think she has a baby, but then when you look down it's actually a semi-realistic doll, all tucked in with a blanket. She even puts the plastic rainguard thingy over it. Does she think that it's a real baby? Is she developmentally disabled, and still playing with dolls? Is she conducting a social experiment to see how many people actually notice that it's not a real baby? I want to know. Maybe I should ask her, but I chicken out every time. Her facial expression is sorta vacant, so I suspect that she has some mental/developmental issue, but that doesn't necessarily mean that she wouldn't want to talk to me.
