1. In two words, explain what ended your last relationship? Divorce Decree
2. When was the last time you shaved your legs? Yesterday in the shower because in my mostly still asleep world I thought yesterday was today and I thought I was seeing my fella in the evening, then this morning I thought tonight was later this week and...well...you get the idea...maybe.
3. What were you doing this morning at 8am? Writing a reactionary note to my daughter's teacher on the basis of feeling personally attacked by a small smiley-faced post-it that came home telling me I'd forgotten something that I hadn't.
4. What were you doing 15 minutes ago? Reading someone else's blog post.
6. Your prom night? Fun, brief - ditched prom for Perkins family restaurant about halfway through.
7. Do you have any famous ancestors? Not that I'm aware of.
8. Have you ever taken out a loan to pay for school? Yes.
9. Do you know the words to the song on your myspace profile? I hate songs on MySpace profiles - you don't even get a choice before you're suddenly blasted with sound.
10. Last thing received in the mail? A bereavement card that was inexplicably returned to me, the quarterly statement for a profit sharing account I still need to liquidate, a "voluntary survey" from Highmark about my race, and a bunch of circulars.
11. How many different beverages have you consumed today? 3 (Coke, Diet Dr. Pepper, and water)
12. Do you ever leave messages on people's answering machines? Not unless I really have something to relay, which isn't often.
13. Who did you lose your CONCERT virginity to? If you don't things like Mitch Miller or Sharon, Lois and Brahm when I was a kid then it was Ringo Starr and His All Star Band! I was 14 and it was one of the most awesome nights of my life.
14. Do you draw your name in the sand when you go to the beach? No - but I did make a giant 3 dimensional face the last time I was there
15. What's the most painful dental procedure you've had? Teeth Cleaning - hands down - I've had 4 teeth pulled but I'd have all the rest yanked in a heartbeat before I'd let anyone floss me again.
16. What is out your back door? My back porch and subsequently my backyard, wherein currently resides Small D's playset, an empty inflatable pool and a monster pile of flea infested junk from my basement.
17. Any plans for Friday night? My sources say no.
18. Do you like the ocean? Hissssssssssssssssssssss! Ocean bad!
19. Have you ever received one of those big tins of 3 different kinds of popcorn for Christmas? Damn it all! No! I've enjoyed them in the workplace and at other people's houses but no one ever gives me that sort of stuff. Do I have to wait til I'm old for the popcorn tins and Hillshire Farms and bath and body junk?
20. Have you ever been to a planetarium? Yes.
22. Something you are excited about? An SCA event on the 21st that I am bound and determined to attend.
23. What is your favorite flavor of JELLO? Blue.
24. Are any of your great-grandparents still alive? No.
25. Describe your keychain. It's got an orange sproingy thing on it that goes around my wrist and a cheap little blue bendy advertising keychain thingee from the dealership, and my magic keyfob for opening doors at work and my Giant Eagle savings card and my CVS savings card, and my Hallmark savings card, and my Value City savings card - also the front door and elevator key to my old office (oops!) my house key, my car key and the key to a gated trail behind my office building.
26. Where do you keep your change? In the bottom of my purse until I transfer it to a bank on my desk at work which small D painted for me - then it inevitably ends up in the building snack machine for Snickers bars and/or the office honor box for soda.
27. When was the last time you spoke in front of a large group of people? Must have been in an English class I took a couple of years ago I think.
28. What kind of winter coat do you have? It's an ancient fake fur that looks like a time-ravaged teddy bear - it's my favorite!
29. What was the weather like on your graduation? I've never had one.
30. Do you sleep with the door to your room open or closed? For the first time in my life I've recently been sleeping with it closed to prevent fleaful cat pouncings in the middle of the night.
