*looks at the schedule for the last leg of the tour noting some of the changes that have taken place* It feels like Justin's vacation just started yesterday and now its already over. I must say it was nice having everyone home for the week and spending time like a family the way we use to. I really think coming home did Justin alot of good. He was able to just relax, do as he pleased at his own pace, catch up with some of his local friends, spend time with his grandparents and of course get a couple of trips to the golf course in. *laughs* The only time he didn't like being home was when I told him he had to mow the lawn.
Yesterday for the fourth of July we had the entire family gather at the house for a barbecue that had all the southern favorites including chicken, corn, burgers, mashed potatoes, crawfish, and who could forget Grandma Sadie's most famous peach cobbler. There was a little confusion though *shakes my head and laughs* as Justin forgot that we had discussed the whole barbecue thing the week before. So he made other plans and missed most of it. Grandma made sure though that there was an extra cobbler just for him. Can you tell he's spoiled? *grins looking at a picture on the mantle of Justin and his grandparents*
So this morning it was back to work bright and early for him. I didn't want to wake him up as like any mother, I wanted to keep my baby home. Now its time to adjust once again to the hectic lifestyle on the road.
