Making it through another week I find I'm spending way too much time on drafting documents. Really I usually just pound that stuff out, but I guess I'm getting gun shy. Taking extra time is good but I worry that my clients are unhappy about it. One promised me a check last week and I haven't seen it yet. Another client called yesterday and said he was sorry for being harsh the last time we spoke. He paid part of his bill, and I congratulated him on his new baby.
Pinky is curled up on my left helping me type. He seems to have gotten more attached lately. Not complaining about it. Seems it took him 3.5 years to feel comfortable. Of course, now he's on a diet because he's starting to bulk up. We weighed him last night. He's 14 lbs!! Seriously. So diet plans for him are going forward. I cannot deal with another cat who gets diabetes. It's too hard on the pet and too hard on me.
I've been up late all week watching the Olympics. Shaun White was amazing last night! I've been flabberghasted by the men's figure skating costumes. Gloves, feathers, and puffy sleeves. Um, ok. Still going to stay up late again to watch tonight. I'm exhausted but it's been worth it.
