So. My mom calls.
Mom: ...so I finished doing up the guest bedroom for Christmas--"
Me" (half listening) Wait, WHAT? You decorated?! I AM HANGING UP.
Mom: No! I mean I changed the bedding!
Me: ...Ma, it's October first.
Mom: Yes. So anyway--
Me: Why did you do that?
Mom: So it would be clean!
Me: For December 25th.
Mom: Well nobody's going to be sleeping in there until then.
Me: Why not do it IN December so it's fresh?
Mom: I don't want to be rushed.
