OCTOPUS CHAIR!
From here. I want. I cannot afford. But goddamn that would be my favourite chair ever.
While searching about online for various decor crap, I ran across a local store's blog. And on it I saw this entry. Now it's story time...
When we were little girls, my mother's biological father carved a set of three wooden crow skulls and gave them to my mom. One of them was lost or broken somewhere along the line, but I still have in my possession two of them. And as most of you know, one of the movies my sister and I say is 'ours' is the little Canadian gem Ginger Snaps, where the main characters both wear bird skull necklaces that look much like the wooden skulls my grandpa carved. They're a bit big, though, now that we aren't spooky teenagers anymore. So the small penny-sized metal skulls from Paboom seemed perfect. After I went to the gym today I rushed up fourth ave to buy em.
Sadly I didn't notice this little guy! So cute. Maybe I'll go back later.
