I bought a beeswax candle to refill one of my glass chimneys. (I broke my Fiery Wall of Protection chimney - I am so pissed at myself. Ma sells more of ther same sort of candles though.) Anyway, the available chimneys are either the Virgin of Guadalupe or a candy skull. Which to choose? CHOOSE FOR ME, INTERNETS.
I found a copy of The Tarot Spellcaster in Banyen's used section. It's a book my mom has, and I was reading it when I was at her house this weekend. It's actually a nice little book, with lavish illustrations. Anyway, I guess it's out of print so I was shocked to see a copy on the shelf for ten bucks in perfect condition. Natch, I bought it.
Shawna got a new tarot deck. This one. It's got a Tim Burton sketch feel to it. Me, I finally got the friggin Crowley deck. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeears later, no? It's just always felt like such a cock deck to me. But I wanted another go-to deck besides the Rider-Waite and the Vertigo. So. Feel my phantom cock via fortune telling, I guess.
