Okay, you know what I love? Welcome to Tranquility. It's put out by DC/Wildstorm, and is about a town full of mostly-aging superheros. Fanfreakingtastic. And guess what?
It's ended, apparently.
YOU FUCKERS.
I stopped reading Ultimate X-Men. Kirkman wrote out my favourite boys, the art is painful, and I just don't care anymore. So I'm left with a void on new comic day. I really like superhero books. I always have. I always will, no matter what other 'smart' or indie-type comics I read. I like people in spandex hitting each other and falling in love. So I am sad that Tranquility will not be my new fix.
linax is heartbroken - she's the one who found the series through Gen13. We were at this comic store earlier in the week and she bought all the issues they had.
Me? I bought old issues of Alpha Flight. This is what happens when I have no Big Gay Colossus - I search out hyperbitchy Northstar. Art by Mignola, though.
This is just too bizarre.
