My Guilt
Everyone does things in their lifetime that they will regret and, more or less, not be proud of. I have reached a wall in my life... A wall consisting of lies... heartbreak, pain, and disappointment. I've shattered the one thing in life which mattered most to me. Broken the heart of someone who put their trust in me even after seeing the destruction I previously caused.
I violated a friendship.... A bond between two people that was built on love, trust, and faithfullness. I Lied... For what... to spare my hopeless life a few more days till the real truth arose? I Lied... and for this sin I will pay regret 1,000 times for every breath I used to speak that lie.
I stand before you... A person who has opened eyes... A man who has stared loneliness in the face and said.... You Win. Atleast for now...
I will not lay down and let my problems consume my body any longer. I vow to defend myself against the evil dwelling within my mind. And I will succeed... I will prove myself worthy... I will earn the trust I lost... And I will patch the heart I broke... Because she's worth it to me. I Love You, I Love You.
