I do use subject lines
If someone can use subject lines, but doesn't want, guess what they do? They don't use them. If someone wants to use subject lines, but can do it no longer, guess what they do? they leave LJ. Hint: removing functionality is _not_ an improvement.

Taking away the user's decision to include comment subject headings is just one more step closer to LJ following in Facebook's ways of changing things around on users for no good reason at all. When the majority of users say something is a bad decision, it's not right to change things anyway despite all of that input. Facebook disregards the opinions of its users, so please don't follow in Facebook's footsteps.

stocking_you
We told you not to. We said it was a bad idea. You fucking did it anyway. YOU DONE FUCKED UP.
This is one of my few paids that I will NOT be renewing once the time runs out. You, sir, fucking fail for doing this.

heeroluva
WTF is this shit. Change it back!

reikah
Cool, the new comment system is ugly, slow and cumbersome.
Thanks for making it worse!

absolutelyfatal
Changing it just to change it isn't good. Not only is the look terrible but the process is slower and large communities will have a hard time sifting through comments.

Why should I stay with a company who clearly does not care about what I (and many, many, many other users) think or want?

and so on here:

I entirely agree with the users above.
