Some self promotion.
So I submitted Chapter 20 of Second Chance at Happiness today. It should be up in a few days. If you have been following it then "thanks a bunch" for your support. If not, why not give it a shot?
It's rated R, and has H/G as it's main ship, but R/HR play a major role in the story. It's a mystery/drama story with some comedy and a fair bit of action thrown in. A lot of friendship and family relationships as well as the romantic kind.
I don't usually feel comfortable promoting my stories, I feel self conscious doing it. But I figured I might as well since I put in a lot of work writing each chapter. And my beta's WillowWand and TWY put in a lot of work editing it. It would be a shame if no one reads it.
20 chapters are up and there are about 6 or 7 left. It is a long story so keep that in mind, but I think that's a good quality not a bad one :). You can read it either on Checkmated or on my Fic Journal: The Prescription Pad> Whichever option you feel more comfortable with.
It was nominated last year for the R/Hr awards under the category of "Most Intriguing Plot", so don't just take my word for it. :)
