(A little disclaimer. I'm not much of a college football fan, spend more time watching the pro game. This is only the second game I've watched all season. The sec championship was the other game.)

I was surprised with the play calling here by 'Bama. The Texas corners were playing at least 10 yards back. No need to go ultra conservative on offense.

11.03 - I do agree with the commentators, Texas should bring the house on one of these Alabama punts. I mean whats the worst that can happen anyways? If I'm the Texas coaches now is the time to throw out the playbook on defence and try my best to force turnovers.
