1. Do you believe there is intelligent life on other planets?
2. What is the most shocking/obnoxious thing anyone has ever said to you?
3. Which celebrity would you most like to hang around with for a day?
4. Are there any circumstances in which you would kill another person?
5. Is there anyone whom you trust 100%, no matter what?
6. Is there anyone whom you actively hate?
7. If you could go back to high school and relive the years between then and now, would you do it?
8. Do you worry about what other people think of you?
9. What is one of your favorite memories of childhood?
10. Did you prefer to play with dolls or dress up, or did you like to play outside?
11. Do you think you are photogenic?
1. I believe there is life on other planets, probably not intelligent life though. Of course that depends on how you define intelligent. As someone who last studied biology in grade 11 I don't know nearly enough to make any other hypothesises.
2. A coworker at the call centre I worked in once asked me what my name is, I told him. He then asked me if that was my real name? I was stunned. He didn't believe someone like me would be named Robert. I wish I had asked him if his real name was Ryan, or was it really Seamus or Paddy?
3. I would like to hang out with Lebron James. From what I have read and after watching the documentary on his high school team last year he really seems like a nice guy. Despite being a gazillionare he still lives in his home town of Akron and still is friends with all his high school friends. He hired his friends to work as his agents, managers etc..etc.. Also if I did hang out with him I am pretty confident we won't end up in something really sleazy or stupid which is a benefit.
4. If I was in a war or was defending my family from someone trying to hurt them. Generally I can't see myself killing someone unless I had to.
5. Even though his advice might always turn out to be correct, I do trust my dad pretty much always. He has such a vast amount of experience that if he is going to tell me something I can pretty much expect to be at least close to the mark.
6. There are people I dislike a lot, but hate....nah I don't hate anyone. Most of the people I dislike aren't worth the time and effort to hate.
7. The reason I wouldn't want to go back and live the years again is because I may not become friends with the people I have now. Oh sure other things may have improved, but I like the friends I have now and I wouldn't want to lose them. Looking back at high school is something we used to do a lot but we made a concerted effort to stop because it is not healthy. If you spend all the time looking back you are not looking forward.
8. Not particularly. People will have pre-made impressions of you and you can hope that after getting to know you they will change if they were negative. I try to be a nice person and I hope people notice that, but if they don't agree well then that's fine too. Modern life is much too short to try to be everything to everyone.
9. I clearly remember playing at my grandparents' house. I remember spending a day walking around bouncing a tennis ball everywhere, except on the stair case. It was a stair case that had gaps between each stairs and a pond of fish underneath and I was scared of losing my ball. My mom says I fell into the pond once, I can't remember that but I wouldn't be surprised. I fell over a lot as a kid. I also remember going out on the veranda and climbing up on the tiled roof. It's interesting how brave you are as a child, I don't know if you would get me up there now. I haven't been back to that place in 20+ years; Going back right now just wouldn't be the same. There are so many rennovations done and of course neither of my grandparents are still alive so to me it feels like a different place all together.
10. I used to play outside a lot. However, I used to play a lot with toys as well. I had a full set of zoo animals and an active imagination so they were the characters in all the re-enacted movies that I used to put on.
11. I don't think I'm very good with candid pictures, perhaps its just a natural reaction to cringe at your own picture. If it is a posed shot, sure I think I look okay.

I watched this movie today. I liked it, if only because it wasn't: A. Preachy or political; B. Full of characters straight from central casting; .
It was also quite suspenseful.
It played at the film festival last year but the show times were all while I was at work.
