Read this today:
ABC has ordered a TV pilot based on the Bill Willingham-created DC Comics property "Fables" reports Reuters.
The setup of "Fables" revolves around characters from fairy tales and folklore being forced to live in exile in a hidden community in modern-day New York.
Show runners Stu Zicherman and Raven Metzner wouldn't elaborate which fairy tale characters will be featured in the TV series, but noted that Big Bad Wolf and Snow White, who are central to the comics, will have a similar role on the show.
"We set up a structure to allow any fairy tale character to show up in any one episode" Metzner said.
First Showtime decides to adapt The Exterminators as a series now this. At this rate, all the comics I read will be on tv.
And some people still mock comic books as being just for kids... :P

I received Spidergirl's card and gift today. Spidey I will gush about it in a later post. Look for it. It may include the words "love and amazing." A marriage proposal may be included as well.
I also received the most innovative card ever from Kerosinkanister's next door neighbour*. It was amazing.

Now I'm off to watch the bucs and panthers on tv. Woohoo!

*Not really. It was from Mr. Kanister himself. A true hall of fame entry in the world of greeting cards.
