Previous covers that have to do with the election:
The magazine really has so many awesome covers. The article that corresponded to the "America at it's finest" issue was the most optimistic thing to come out of the whole election coverage.
Also I read on The Atlantic's website today their endorsement of Lincoln that they wrote back during that election, and it makes it so obvious how the language skills from journalists have dipped in the last 140 years.
