Waking Life is for philosophers as to what Mulholland Drive is for abstract thinkers. Go see it, Laura. Then lets have a compare and contrast session.
- Baseketball
Kind of like a beautiful house, perfectly erected, perfectly structured... and the dog smeared shit all over the insides. Like, 17 dogs. And no humans. And occasionally diarrhea.
This movie was perfectly set up, but (and I don't by any means have any hatred for South Park) the south park guys sucked. They're better writers than actors, and better voice-actors than actors too. They were miscast, horribly out of place, and if there was a remake of Baseketball, but centered around two different characters, it would be a fantastic movie. The Zucker charm was lacking a bit, but still leaked out here and there. It was the ultimate 'should have been great' movie... so 'should have been great' that i'm ranting about it. rant rant rant.
