I thought f you two today when I made bang bang brussel sprouts for lunch with one too many bangs...too much sirracha and wondered if you could have tasted it.
When I had the pneumonia in 2007 I had so little oxygen that I would be winded just chewing food.
I loaded a tablespoon of horseradish onto my supper-nothing. But I think I almost smelled the baked potatoes cooking. Silver lining-why eat junk food if I can’t taste it?
that made me think, a few years ago when I was at the auction/antique place, I caught the regular flu, and still kinda bleh I was at work but hadn't been able to eat much at home. I went to the vending machine and got a Poptart, and, I remember looking down to make sure I wasn't eating the plastic wrapper, because I honestly couldn't tell the difference. (although there are so many other "better" flavors of pop tart than strawberry)
Food delivery, yep. I could pick the most common item on the planet and it would be a “sorry Holly, you can’t have that!” I feel like it’s a shell game. We order something, are told we can have it, but no-haha Holly! And two days later that item is back. Frank put “no substitutions” so we don’t end up with a cake mix instead of …?.
Yeah, that's been (our) experience too. :/
I hadn't thought about laundry being problematic, boy does that complicate things. I keep starting to think "if necessary we should offer our in-condo machines" but then remember "but that's putting us at possible risk too". Dammit.
Sorry about the lack of taste, but glad you're still trying to eat. Also sorry about the vertigo/nausea, that's the worst part about being sick, for sure.

It can take a while though before it returns, even after you're back negative.
You can always handwash your underwear if you run out.
