(no subject)
Nice and coolish today, I like the change. Have you ever felt like you're drowning in problems that need fixing? Every time I solve something, at least one something else comes to take its place. Now it's the air conditioning guy.
Grandpa phoned tonight, asking why we weren't answering our phone yesterday morning. Apparently the repairman called, but we didn't answer, several times. We were actually expecting him to call Monday and come by Tuesday. He did neither. Grandpa said the man called Tuesday morning to make sure we were home, without an answer. I honestly don't know how we could have missed his call. It may have been a wrong number, because we were home and Nico never received a call on her cell. Well, time to try again.
Work has been the same way. I've been working really hard to fix problems as they crop up, but they just seem to be breeding faster and faster. I had a customer today who wouldn't sign our store invoice (which technically means I cannot complete the order) but I was able to get the manager to approve it anyway. The customer was far from grateful however. She left with a final accusation that we were breaking the privacy laws. All this really makes a job worthwile :P
But all in all I don't have too much to complain about right now, especially with the temperature lower.
