Gluten-Free Restaurants
Looks like the Outback Steakhouse is going to be one of the few restaurants I will frequent. All of their restaurants are actually listed as a certified Gluten-Free restaurants along with the following other restaurants:
Bonefish Grill - Bothell
Z'Tejas - Bellevue Square
Emory's on Silver Lake - Everett
The only sad part: These are the ONLY certified gluten-free restaurants within 50 miles of my house.
I can get gluten-free foods at places like Red Robin (which, if you ask, will provide you with a gluten-free menu). Unfortunately, there is no absolute guarantee of no cross-contamination. And Applebee's, although they offer many healthy choices, openly states that they cannot guarantee the ability to supply gluten-free foods.
I will have to do some research before the trip to DC in October to find out where we will be able to eat while we are there. Otherwise, we will be staying in a hotel room/suite with a kitchenette.
