I am watching season three, made in 1994, of DS9 and in a Time travel episode they go back to 2024. Sisko is talking baseball with the locals and one guy says that he though that the 99 Yankees were the greatest team of all time. Sisko said it was the 15 Kings.
The 99 Yankees did win the World Series and was mostly the same team as the 98 Yankees which is considered one of the greatest teams of all time.
I don't know how they did that but I am going to bet on the Kings in 2015.
