plug it in, plug it in

The weather is gorgeous today in Bloomington. The sun is shining, but a nice cool breeze is still present. I kept my window opened today and the sweet smell of summer but not quite yet fall crept through my window.

For a Saturday, I've been pretty productive. I've spent majority of the day doing various assignments for my classes. I'm currently printing out numerous sociology readings in the computer lab. I haven't gotten around to studying for my athletic training classes yet, which are the classes I need to study the most for. I'll probably concentrate on those subjects tomorrow. I need to stop by Barnes and Noble and pick up the flash cards. I heard they are 34 dollars though :( I'm slowly donating all of my checkbook to the athletic training program. I'm sure all the money spent will be worth it when I have an excellent education and a successful job.

Speaking of athletic training, the sophomores found out their assigned sports today. I was assigned to swimming. I'm excited, they practice in the SRSC which is very close to the dorm I'm in now. Plus, it'll be fun working with the aquatic sports I think. I'm excited to start getting the clinical experience but I'm scared at the same time. I don't feel prepared, but I'm sure in time I will be.

College football is starting...GO NOTRE DAME! They play tonight, actually they are playing right now. I'll have to turn that game on when I get back up to the dorm. I got invited to go to Malibu Grill with a few of the girls on my floor, but because of lack of funds, I might just have to pass :( I watched alot of the U.S. Open today too. Tennis, it's my new thing. I loved playing it this summer and it's fun to watch. I'll have to find people to play with me this year, since my usual partner is in Terre Haute.

Well, I finished printing all the needed readings. I'd say I have a good 200 or some pages printed out :-/

I hope everyone has a good weekend!
