There was this girl I was friends with from elementary school to high school names Kelly Borradelle (spelling may be off). We were in a lot of the same classes until high and still, we had a few there. The one thing that I remember the most about her was in we were in elementary school and middle school, I had the opportunity to bring a few friends to the pool over the summer for a day. I loved bringing Kelly because she used to have so much fun. Her big things was going on the huge slide that was built there. It really wasn't anything out of the ordinary for slides, but it was a huge thing for us. Right next to it was the diving board. But the only way you could get to a slide, besides this one, was to go to an amusement park and sometimes that is no fun.
But there was something about her joy that always put a smile on my face, knowing that I could give her that for one day over the summer. That is all she would ask during that day. "Can we go on the slide again?".
Thinking back, I did not care for my TRUE friends enough. Anne, Susan, Rose, Kelly. Those four girls were my true foundation of friendship. I wish I could go back and say thank you for everything.
I guess it is just as good to be thinking about it now. If any of you read this....
THANK YOU FOR BEING THE PEOPLE THAT YOU WERE AND ARE!!!!!!!!! You are AMAZING!
