You are all terribly distrustful. That's good.

So that you're working with an informed opinion however, this was the work of neither myself nor the Organization.

Well, that rules out one choice. [Though looking at the other responses, seems it isn't the Third Party like she had thought also.]

If you can't share who you think did it, can you share if you feel that what it says has any validity at all?

All I can say is that whoever sent those letters is damn good at Shifting. And Shifting seems to be the method by which people return home, so logically...it's possible.

And what about the fact that our existence here is not natural and remaining here will cause problems in our world?

Actually, I'll ask you the same; I don't know what the letters say. Could you quote specifically what you want clarified?

Yes, that would be fine. [The sound of her grabbing up the letter can be heard.]

Know also that your continued absence from your world/universe has dire consequences on your future, those close to you, etc. Your existence here is unnatural, and every day you spend here breaks you apart.

Soon, you will be just like Tyr.

Would that mean that if we remain here the future may well change and something horrible could happen to us?

...in simple terms, I suppose. It's a rather complicated collection of consequences, though.

And I doubt those will be explained, so would a summation of it depends on the person, the world, and the time they are taken from suffice?

You really shouldn't doubt me, dear.

People don't tend to like explaining things that are extremely complex. That and I don't remember you being overly forthcoming. I don't doubt your knowledge on it, just your willingness to share that knowledge.

There'd be no point in keeping things secret now.

I see then.

Though I admit, you are acting a lot different than the last time we spoke. Have you changed your mind about giving us information then?

You have to give to get. You gave me information, it's only fair I return the favor.

You wanted clarification on the "breaking apart, unnatural existence" bit, I assume?

Yes, that is what I want clarification on. Whatever you can share is fine with me.

Well, unnatural existences here is pretty obvious in that you're not native to the planet. What that means, though, that's a bit harder to explain considering how little's been discovered concerning that. What we know is that worlds...hm.

Well, let me ask this; have you ever felt homesick? For anything, a person or a place or even a feeling.

No, I haven't really felt homesick, except maybe for what my world was like before it was nearly destroyed, but that I felt before I arrived too. At that time I hated what my world had become so much that I didn't even care much about living anymore.

If anything, I seem to be in the minority who prefer this to my own world. I'm told by my friends that it gets better in time, but I still remember all too well what I left.

Whatever, sometimes people don't.

Homesickness is usually assumed to be psychological. An animal becomes accustomed to other animals or its surroundings, and once taken from those surroundings its behavior and moods change to reflect that mild distress. This, however, is not the case.
