You are all terribly distrustful. That's good.

So that you're working with an informed opinion however, this was the work of neither myself nor the Organization.

I doubt it. Well, maybe a faction that branched off, but the core of the Third Party wouldn't bother.

Not acutely, no. I have a few hunches.

Hmmm...maybe. I do hate being wrong, though.

Oh all right.

Whoever sent those letters has to have Shifting equipment or capabilities. As it stands, the leading owners and operators of Shifting equipment are the Organization and their subsidiary companies. It's not the Organization though, so either it would have to be someone working against directives or a thief.

Another option is someone who acquired Shifting technology through darker means, AKA the black market. That's terribly unlikely though, since whoever did this has to be extremely well-versed in Shifting in order to breach the Organization's containment barrier.

A denomination of the Third Party is also possible, but I have absolutely no idea what their motive for doing this would be.

It's definitely not John.

Hardly. There are still thousands of mysteries on this planet that we've yet to discover or explain. If John can revive Jacob -an act that's been up there on the impossible scale right beside returning home- then it's not unheard of that someone may have actually discovered a way to return you all home.

Oh, is that what they say?

Actually dear, could you tell me what your letter says? Whoever sent them was talented enough to fool my analytical programs.

sorry, my bad; clarification malnosso November 24 2009, 08:04:16 UTC
Oh ho. Oh they are not going to be happy about this at all.

Estelle, I want you to do something for me; you -or someone you trust- need to use the laptops and tell everyone to keep further discussions concerning "breaking apart," unnatural existences and Tyr need to be kept off of the journals.

It might be, but the more it's discussed in the open, the more panicked they'll be, and you don't want to deal with a panicked Organization. Honestly they're a bit like horses; stick a pair of blinders on them and they'll just see the road right in front.
