Cherry Popping
Here I am, very first post on Live Journal.
That's weird given how many years I've known about LJ, and never used it.
I also don't know anyone here, other than the lovely dizzojay and be_my_precious , who are both awesome folks I've got to work with on Bangs of some kind or another recently, so beyond them this is mostly a shout into the void!
Nothing wrong with that though.
I guess first of all I should try and find some communities to follow. I can keep this post (once I've got over the weird mental block of actually posting it) to keep a running list of "stuff I'm into", I suppose, so that I can remember to find content related to it.
If anyone who reads this (the wind? the undead? myself, fifty times?) has any communities to recommend, let me know!
That "stuff I like" bit:
Most of this is going to be Supernatural related.
SPN fanfic - Both shipping and Gen. I'm not adverse to any ships, though pairings involving Dean and Cas (together or separately) are my favorite, I love a good bit of Sam too though. (And Meg, and Ruby, and Gabriel, and... you know what, I'm a filthy little multi-shipper and I'll take anything.)
SPN art - shippy art, gen art, solo character art! Paintings, manips, videos... I love looking at art, of all kinds.
J2, J2M and other cast content - I like to keep up with the cast outside of the show too.
More general writing stuff - I like to interact with people who write and who I can learn from and be inspired by.
Other fandoms: Oh my, a lot. Although SPN eats up a ton of my time, I've stuck my head into virtually every mainstream fandom out there. What I always tell people I meet is "throw something at me and it might stick". From LOTR to Marvel, from YOI to Sherlock, I just have a tendency to get passionate about things.
Okay. Enough talking to myself for one day. Time to hunt down some content.
