pleasant day
had a very lovely day. got a decent amount accomplished for this weekend. still have to do the sewing bits, but at the moment i am feeling like i have a good handle on things for friday. minervaish and i ordered the shuttle for friday morning, i managed to add a connection with another character to my background, and i also got my character sheet finished, thanks in great part again to the lovely minervaish.
then this evening my lovely housemate and i indulged our id's with ballroom dancing, pudding and more ballroom dancing. as a part of this trifecta m and i watched strictly ballroom. i had forgotten how much i absolutely love this film. m let me babble at her repeatedly about the beauty of the filmmaking, the symbolism, the themes and the utterly fabulous girliness of the romantic plotline. i got to indulge my inner film geek, which i do not do often enough. *and* i got to indulge my girlie needs for sparkles and romance. and i remembered the most important lesson this movie has taught me: do not live life in fear--take chances!
so yeah, not as many tangible results from the day as could have been had, but a great and productive day nonetheless.
