i'm not dead yet.
in fact, i've been very productive despite getting infested and eaten live by bed bugs. internships, art shows, work-oh my! golden cup balm works miracles.
also, my boyfriend's a sweetheart. i'm gonna be all whiny when school start b/c we might not be able to hang out as much.
there was an awesome drawing of the creature on the left on tumblr, but unfortunately, the blogger didn't mention who's the artist. i tried linking the original artwork but that failed too. grrr... online inconveniences...
trying to draw the monster at a different angle. when i draw creatures like these they tend to soften out and look less scary, which means i'm still not good enough... ssaaaaadnesss... (<--Pilz-e reference b/c i'm a nerd like that)

a machine-operated being, pretty much how i felt at my current internship when the lethargy and drowsiness kicked in. eyes are fun to draw for warm-up.
roomie's been watching Weeds religiously. the Death Cab for Cuite cover of the song wasn't so bad.
old Bleach opening randomly stuck in my head. head angles can be difficult.
fooling around with markers very messily.
little perspective exercise i wanted to test. i should buy a book on perspective. even if i don't read it routinely, it's good to have around.
