Looks like I started a trend... heh.
Three music rants in two days isn't bad. Good thing I came to my senses about three minutes after I made that post. SO.. in the interest of rediscovering my love for music I'm going to list bands/songs that I recommend.
1. anything by Primus. Les Claypool and Co. are an amazing bunch of musicians and I think any musician/music fan would find something to enjoy.
2. Alkaline Trio. I've known about these guys for years, but have just recently discover hoe good they are.
3. The Smiths/ 'nuff said
4. Echo & the Bunnymen. Some genius darkwave right here folks. great imagery and vocals as well as strings. Hooray for strings!!!
5.Oingo Boingo. Danny Elfman in an 80's band = greatest thing ever.
well those are on the top of list right now.
oh what the hell... Why not list five bands in your journal along with this message so that we can all find some new music...
