You know how at a wedding, the couple has their first dance as husband and wife? I've been to a few weddings in my time, and the couple's first dance is always kinda boring. They just rotate around in a circle while people watch and say "aaaawwwwwww". Um. No. When I get married someday, I'm gonna do things a little differently. I want to choreograph a Broadway style number.
Ideally, I want to do "That Face" from The Producers (see clip above). The dancing starts at about 3:21. I like it because a) it's cute and seems relatively simple for beginners; b) it's designed for a tall girl...I'm tallish for a girl, and chances are I'll be wearing heels; and c) it appears to be some type of Quickstep, which I've always liked.
I'd cut out the bit with the couch, but end on the kiss. If a room full of people I barely know are going to gawk at me and my future husband, I want to give them something to gawk at.
