Today was supposed to be one of those "get things done" days.  And I tried, I did, but it didn't really work out as planned.

Certainly, we are meant to believe that Ellen was the fifth cylon, because of the corollary between Tighs vision and those of his fellow final cylon buddies. However, he is prone to hallucinations, so it could just be another false vision. Because it happened right at the end of the episode, we have no proof one way or the other at this point. I'm ready to accept either outcome. Apparently Ron D. Moore has confirmed that she is indeed the final cylon... but I've only read that in speculation so far, and haven't seen a cited source for it.

I think a lot of people would be upset if Kara was a cylon. I can't say I'd be upset in the angry way, but disappointed perhaps. My main beef would be, well... if that were the case, where did she regenerate FROM? It has to be a trick, or she's not a cylon but something else entirely.

'Course, now I'm left to wonder if she's the harbinger of death for the humans or for the cylons... Oh man... I love this. So many options, all of them insane. Yummy dark stuff makes me happy.

I'm sort of tossing around a theory that the cylons created the humans. I doubt it could actually make sense when penciled out, but I really like the thought of it, that the thirteenth colony was the cylon faction of Kobol, that the gods of Kobol were cylons themselves even. We shall see.
