Summary: Heechul’s life doesn’t like being normal, when something bad happens, something good happens, and vice versa.
I’m just a little bit caught in the middle.
Heechul didn’t like this. When Siwon and Hangeng would fight, especially when it was his fault. Sometimes it was just a verbal fights, some had fists flying, this one, Heechul didn’t know what would happen.
He made himself as small as possible sitting down and leaning in the corner of the room, just watching the two at it. Biting back the tears as much as he could. No one would ever blame Heechul, they should, but no one ever did.
“Why were you two at a club and didn’t tell me?! He could have been hurt! He could have been raped! You even had the guts to leave him there!” Heechul heard Siwon yell. He played with the hem of his sweatshirt before pulling his legs up to his chest and pulling the sweatshirt over his legs.
“Like you do any better! God dammit Siwon! You were caught in a bar fight again with him right next to you! You can take care of yourself, but Heechul doesn’t have a shred a muscle on him!” Hangeng yelled back. Heechul buried his head down into the sweatshirt. Why was it always like this? When did this all happen? Heechul glanced over to the clock, praying like an un-Christian for some form of escape. The time was about two hours early then work started, but he didn’t care. Heechul abruptly got up and ran in between them to get dressed for work. Then left without a goodbye to the now stunned two lovers staring at him, realizing their mistake again.
Life is a maze.
Heechul sighed and ran a hand through his already mussed up hairstyle and looked at the building where he had worked only a few minutes ago for five years of his life. Of course he’d be fired for something he didn’t do. That smug bastard Kibum knew he’d be the immediate suspect for whoring in the boss’s office and just let everything fall onto Heechul. He just happened to walk into the office because he was called there and got there before the boss did. Lady luck never really liked him he supposed. Something good happens, and there’s always going to be a catch that’ll screw everything over. He looked up at the sky scowling.
“You know, I’m dating your favorite son, so shouldn’t you at least make my life better?” he cursed at an invisible listener. In response, gray clouds rolled into view and started showing its sympathy for him by crying. At the wrong time of course.
And Love is a riddle.
When he came home, Heechul expected the apartment he shared with his two boyfriends to be in shreds. But as he opened the door and started to greet the apartment he stopped and stared. Nothing was broken, in fact, things looked better than when he left. The counter was cleaned, the chairs were upright, the curtain was open and the pictures were hanging perfectly still on the wall. Heechul dropped his bag onto the floor and slowly walked into the room and closed the door behind him. Then, the smell of fried rice flooded his nostrils and made him look to the kitchen.
“Hannie?” Heechul said meekly. He saw the smooth figure of the Chinese with his back turned making his famous(Or at least famous to the people who know him) Beijing Fried Rice. Before he could speak louder or move toward Hangeng, a large pair of arms gently wrapped around Heechul’s waist and someone nuzzled their face into the crook of his neck. “Siwonnie.” Heechul breathed, he could feel Siwon smile on his skin and Hangeng stopped his cooking putting the flame down low then walked over to the two. He smiled at Heechul softly as he wrapped his arms around Siwon’s back, leaving Heechul in between them. The three stayed like that, in a press of bodies together, for five long and silent minutes. To Heechul, it’d be a hell lot sweeter if he could breath in this mess. Finally, surrendering with hardly any oxygen left in his lungs, Heechul wriggled and squirmed his way out from them. “What’s with you two all of a sudden?” He whined loudly. Siwon looked over at Hangeng, and Hangeng looked back, once their eyes were both back on Heechul Siwon let out a laugh before speaking.
“Hyung, do you know what day today is?” he questioned sincerely. Heechul scoffed at the question and replied back rudely.
“Yes, the day my co-worker screwed me over and got fired. How can I forget!” Hangeng frowned slightly and ruffled Heechul’s hair.
“You were fired? Wow, today hasn’t been treating you well has it?”Heechul pouted in response and turned his attention back to Siwon.
“I give, what day is today?” Siwon grinned, making his dimples show beautifully. In unison, he and Hangeng answered.
“It’s our first year anniversary as a thee way couple.”
“A little surprising though we haven’t broken up yet, with all shit we put each other through.” Hangeng added. Heechul abruptly ruined the mood with his statement.
“I have got to be masochistic or something to put up a whole year with your arguments you know.” He muttered shaking his head. Siwon laughed half-heartedly.
“Maybe, but we always make up for it don’t we?” he implied seductively, he put one arm around Heechul’s waist and the other around Hangeng’s shoulder to lead them to the bedroom.

A/N: Does this drabble even make sense? I feel like I rushed through this too much and left out too many things that don't exist... *bites nails nervously*
