An abbreviated update:
People at work never seem to realize I'm gay until something is said directly on the topic, even the gay guys. Go figure. (Consider the average call center has a great excess of gay guys anyway.) I'm not exactly the epitome of rugged masculinity or anything....
I'm almost to On the Job Training... I'm going to miss my training class.
For anyone who wants to know anything about the company: Verizon sucks. Trust me. They just do.
Speaking of which, fickle people suck. The official is over, and I've been rather depressed for the last 25 hours. I'm not sure what to think of it right now, because there's a lot of ambiguity left to it.
Kingdom Hearts II is only distracting me from the previous point and not really doing much else. And because of previous point, I'm not enjoying it as much as I should. Damnit.
Oh, and there's something else from yesterday that should leave me feeling better, but I can't "officially" say it until Friday (it's a confidential, work related thing, and if one of them found the LJ, I'd be breaking that agreement). Not helping; see above.
Edit: So the good news was a pay grade increase, which for new hires comes from $7.50/hour to $9.00/hour.
