The Blue Heron was robbed last night! *GASP*
SCARY! All the money was taken, and it's creepy. The police think it's an inside job, and/or someone who is a meth addict. Why a meth addict? Because meth addicts are prevalent in this town, and had it been a hardcore theif, they would have taken valuables, not just cash. Icky.
Seanzy has a cold, and some creepy dude called me last night and said, "Hey Mallary, last time we spoke you were 15, and I was just going through an old phone book and wanted to say hi." Fun...Not really though. Fifteen was my slutty age, so I probably DID know him. Ewww. I forgot to ask him where he lived, because that would have been a silly thing to do. Damnit! Oh well, it's not like I'll hear from him any time soon. I hope...lol.
I'm currently at the Blue Heron waiting for a STARS meeting to begin at 12:30. I'm reading a book called "Remembrance" by Jude Deveroux...because as anyone who knows me will tell you, I'm a sucker for a cheesy romance novel. This one is lovely, about a writer who falls in love with a charecter she's writing about in a book, and there's some stuff dealing with past lives in it...it's pretty good. I enjoy Jude Deveroux, she writes beautifully. One of my favorite books of hers is "A knight in shining armor"...it's about time travel. I reccomend it to any hopeless romantic soul in need of a good read. Wait asec...am I a hopeless romantic soul? Hmm....
Anywho, I'm creeped out by all of the police whizzing about this here place, so I'm going to return to my quite corner with my rocking chair and cheesy romance novel.
