So, so, so glad I went!
Like I said, I stayed in D.C. last night, then went to my friend's father's office party...a building that happened to have that view of the inauguration parade. So we had a cold walk, lots of cold waiting to get into the security zones, then warmth, free food, and the best view I think I could've possibly attained given that I'm not a member of the U.S. government.
