I admit the first thing I thought when I read about ducks in Central Park was The Catcher in the Rye. So when Brittany said “The ducks aren’t going anywhere,” it was a bit ironic for me because Holden's always asking where the duck in Central Park go in winter because, well, they are going somewhere eventually (Just where that is we don't quite know yet). I guess this stories quite a bit different from Catcher. For one thing it's sickeningly sweet, minus the sickening because I really didn't feel ill in the least bit reading it. Just very, very happy.

I love future!fic so much (adding happiness and children makes me extra happy), and this story really hit the spot.
