In general, I approve of these protests for more reasons than I care to go into now because that's not really my point.
I was thinking today, though, about a funny line from a British series starring Rowan Atkinson made years ago called Black Adder. In one episode in which Atkinson's character, Black Adder, and Baldric, played by Tony Robinson, are discussing the French Revolution and societal unrest in general. Black Adder comments to Baldric: "Everywhere people are crying 'peace,' 'freedom,' and 'a few less fat bastards eating all of the pie.'" If I decide I'm going to join these protests in St. Louis, that is what I shall letter on my sandwich board.
