I was running to catch a ship
Leaving from the dock
And there wasn't much time
I had ignored the clock

As it pulled away
I screamed please, stop
If I can't get out of here
My life will fucking flop

But when I reached the pier
I saw they didn't hear
I ran and I dove from the port
But I was an inch too short

And as I travelled towards the water
It all dried up
It revealed a ship on wheels
And a concrete sea

So I fell towards the ground
And I hit with a thud
And was stuck on these shores now
Lying in a pool of blood

It sailed down the road
Not noticing my pain
Oh christ, I thought
I'd have to catch the train
